Well, at least he was free from the rain here. The little appaloosa stallion stood in the Grove, looking at the trees that surrounded him. They were very breath-taking, even in the rain, and he wondered what they would be like in fair weather. Sorrel Flecked was his name. He didn't have a home. He thought of claiming a land, but he wondered nevously what would become of any herd he led. Sorrel was known for his rash decisions. He wondered if there were any other neutrals about the Dimension. Mostly there were darks, and a few lights... He decided to find out when the weather was better...

[purple]Excited that the drought was over, Sofia was searching for members for her herd in full force. She had been combing the wanderers' lands for some time now, hoping to find neutrals. So far, she'd seen a pair of lights frolicking in the rain and what was probably a dark slinking around. No neutrals. She hoped she wasn't the only one in the entire Dimension.
Look! she thought suddenly, excitedly. A bi-colored lump was standing about a hundred feet away, probably a horse. The rain, though, roughened the edges around it so she may have been mistaking a giraffe with a short neck or even a brownish zebra for a horse. She hoped, though, that it was a neutral.
"Greetings!" she called, musical voice sounding throughout the drenched grove. She trotted excitedly toward the lump, watching it indeed form into a horse. It didn't look dark, its stance was less rigid than theirs tended to be. Maybe it was light? Well, she'd prefer light to dark. And neutral to light.[/purple]

((LUMP?? -ish indignant- You calling Sorrel a LUMP? I bi-colored lump? -ish falling over laughing- Oh man,, that's funny!))
Sorrel turned his dial slowly, auds pricked to the most beautiful sound he had heard yet in this quiet land. A lovely young mare ((That does sound better then LUMP!)) was trotting uncertainly towards him, and Sorrel instantly straighened to look at her. "Hello!" he called cheerily to her.

((*Dies laughing* It's just that the rain had "roughened the edges" a little. She couldn't tell that it was, indeed, a horse.)) [purple]Okay, so it was kind. That was good. Not a dark. Sofia trotted closer to the stag, studying him. How could she have called him a lump? His vibrant colors seemed to radiate in the darkness. "I am Sofia," she said simply as she slowed to a halt maybe five feet away from the stallion.[/purple] ((No muse... ))

((Lol! But still... A blurry image, I could handle... maybe. but a LUMP? -ish still laughing so hard-))
Sorrel grinned, watching her take in his looks, and he took in hers. She was certainly a welcome sight, and sound, when all you've found lately is as bunch of bloodthirsty darks. Did he dare hope she was the same alliance as himself? Maybe. She was kind enough to be light... But then, neutrals were kind to. Some of 'em, anyways. He brushed away is thoughts. "Mofia. Lovely name.." he said stupidly. "I'm Sorrel Flecked." He lowed his maw towards the ground in a sort of bow as he introduced himself.

[purple]A laugh came from the mare's maw as the stallion mixed up her name. It bubbled and burst in the overly humid air around them. "No, silly," she replied gently. "Sofia. Not Mofia." Anyways. She bowed back, dipping her head a little. "And I am pleased to meet you, Sorrel Flecked. May I inquire as to what path you have pursued in life: light, dark, or just neutral?"[/purple]

((Ohmygosh, did I misspell that? Lol.))
Sorrel blushed furiously. Sofia, Mofia... Sounded the same to him. Well not really. "There's a lot of big words in that, Sofia." he mumbled. "I'm only just a humble stallion!" He chucked. "Just kidding. I'm.. nuetral. And to say your question in simpler words... What alliance are you?"

((Lol. I thought you meant to do it that way!))
[purple]Sofia smiled. This stallion, though perhaps a bit fumbly, was funny and kind. "I, too am neutral, perhaps the other of the two neutrals in the entire Dimension," she said a bit sadly.[/purple]
((My excuse: Tryin' to save some muse for Apollo.))

((lol))
Sorrel sighed. "Maybe so. All I've come across is the darks and the lights... Out alliance is pathetic." he said with a brave attept at humour.

((Lol))
[purple]Sorrel's humorous comment startled her, offended her, but she didn't take it personally. "That's mean... but true," she said, her voice more sad than it had been before.[/purple]
