Her delicate hooves left imprints in the ground as White Heather walked briskly at the lake's shore. She and Appollos Lantern were walking... Just walking because there wasn't much else to do. It had been a while since the white femme left the light kingdom. She knew the Dimension was sparse. Bare. And there was only Heather and Appollo who lived the light path. She lifted her gaze to the sky, not a cloud... When would in next rain? Belleza Falls had lost much of it's beauty for loss of water. Was the Dimension cursing the lands because of the wicked darks? She sighed. She didn't know...

Apollo followed Heather lazily, hooves sinking slightly into the soft sand surrounding the lake. It was a pleasant place, though not only reserved for lights. Strange. He couldn't see why any of those despicable darks would want to come here. Neutrals, maybe. But no darks. ((Zero muse... ))

((Lol)) Heather sighed, looking at the tiny amount of water in the hole where the Lake once was. "Hope it rains soon." she said softly. "If not, we may just find ourselves without water. The heat is unbearable." ((Me too. Gag. )

The gray stallion sighed, too. The heat had caused bugs, especially mosquitoes, to flourish in the past weeks. He hated bugs with a passion. They lived for no reason but to torment him, he was sure. He had such thin skin that it appeared his skin was horribly inflamed each time a single mosquito decided to have a snack. It was horrifyingly annoying, not to mention painful.
"Yes," Apollo murmured to his queen. "The heat is so... unforgiving," he replied, finding the right word. "And the mosquitoes are hell," he added.

The moon-washed vixen laughed softly at his comment. "You have that right. That could easily be the worst thing about this drought - For now." She sighed. "I'm so depressing, I know."

Apollo laughed out loud at this comment. "You should hear me when I talk about mosquitoes," he giggled.
((Wait. Where did that muse go!?))

((-BURP- Whew.. Uh.. Your muse has... passed away...))
The femme smiled, a glimmer appearing in her blue eyes. She raised herself onto her back hooves, stricking the air in front of Appollo with her flints in a playful manner. The sand exploded from the ground as Heather landed and took off at a gallop, laughing. Oh, she was so unpredictable.

((Noooo! *cries* Poor musie )) Apollo flinched a bit as her hooves dangled in front of her face, but then he flew up to a gallop, trying in vain to catch up to the queen. His powerful hindquarters actively pumped his legs, sending him flying after Heather.

ooc// Hehe...
Her laughter floated in the air as she galloped across the sand where the Lake used to be. The sand erupted upon impact, flying through the dry air. Her arabian linage showed clearly with every move, and then she stopped abruptly and turned to face Appollo, grinning playfully still.

((Lol!))
Just as clearly as Heather's arabian line showed through, Apollo's Lusitano heritage was plain. The bit of Andalusian fire showed in his active gallop and the rest of him showed in his stocky yet graceful movement. He slid in this elegant way to a stop, breathing easily still after coming down from a full-blown run. A grin crossed his face, too.
((It's coming back! Musey! *pounces*))

((Lucky duck, my muse seems to be gone. )) She grinned teasingly, her eyes glittering plafully. Then, she felt something drop onto her nape, something that made her heart beat faster and look up into the sky. She had failed to notice the darkened cloud spread across the sky. The sun showed it's brilliance still, but she felt the raindrops come stil. "It's raining!" she shreiked, rearing up with joy. "The drought has past!"

A cry tore from the stallion's lips as he felt the cool water drum on his spine. "It's past, it's past!" he shouted joyfully. He bucked and reared happily, feeling the liquid running over his barrel, neck, legs, and dripping down his nose. His tassel raised in the air, eyes glittering in excitement. "The rain is here!" he bellowed for the sheer pleasure of yelling.

A shrill whinny of pleasure emitted from the vocals of Heather as she reared into the wet sky, feeling the raindrops soak into her pelt. "Thank goodness!" she cried into the gray sky. She landed and ran over to Appollo, the sheer ecstacy of the moment making her giddy. "It's passed! The drought is gone!" she cried.

Equally giddy, Apollo's face split into a dopey grin. "It's past, it's past," he repeated to himself, going over and over in his brain like a broken record. Then he broke it. "It's past!" he bellowed loudly. He looked excitedly at Heather, lost in the moment, forgetting that she was a thousand times his better. He nuzzled her happily. His mantra started up again: "It's past, it's past...

Heather laughed softly, and nuzzled Appollo back without realizing it. Her body was now soaked, and suddenly a flash of lightening lit up the realm. "Yikes!" she yelped with a start. She blushed in the darkness as she realized how good she felt with Appollo. "We'd better find some shelter, before we catch a cold." she suggested, ruining the mood with her words.
